Recommendation letter

Does your institution need to know why this conference is considered professional development? Feel free to download and modify this justification letter.

What to bring

Please wear your provided conference attendee badge every day when you come to the Museum. You also might want to bring some cash (€ only accepted as bills) in order to purchase lunch (or souveniers) at the museum. The Museum does not have an ATM on site but we accept several means of paying directly with bank or credit cards.

Door prizes

All attendees are asked to bring along a small door prize from home (and you must be present to win one of course)!
Following tradition, DUG meeting delegates bring a small gift from their home institution to be given away as part of a random door prize drawing. Gifts highlighting local culture or your institution are ideal and are a great way to showcase your origin. You are not required to bring a door prize. If you have small trinkets or other items that you would like to give to all delegates, that is also perfectly acceptable.

Suggested attire

September weather in Lucerne can be pretty unpredictable. Plan on warm days and potentially chilly evenings. Conference attire should be comfortable and appropriate for a family friendly environment. Those attending the Post conference tour will want to wear comfortable walking attire which keeps you warm and good walking shoes.

Photography and videography policy.

Visitors must limit their photography to the people in their immediate group and must ask for consent of the people imaged. The Museum reserves the right to confiscate any photo or videos that violate this policy.
