The Rocky Mountain Express has been steaming at the Swiss Museum of Transport's Filmtheatre for many years now. This documentary stars the Empress, a restored steam engine, as it puffs its way through fantastic North American landscapes.
Spectacular aerial views alternate with breathtaking pictures taken on and of this gorgeous steam engine. Experience the many changes of scenery – from the tall cliffs of the Fraser Valley, alongside large lakes and river bends, through forests, deep gorges and wide valleys, over high passes and, last but not least, past the mighty mountainscape of the Canadian Rockies.
