Fabian Cancellara – The Spartacus of cycling

For 17 years Fabian Cancellara was one of the world's most successful cyclists. Nicknamed "Spartacus" on account of his mighty stature, the Bernese is a two-time Olympic champion, a four-time World Champion, and in the his¬tory books as the best time trial competitor. However, this special exhibition shows much more: his numerous successes in the "Monuments of Cycling" (classic one-day races), his eternal record of days wearing the Tour de France leader's yellow jersey, and his "after¬career career". Yet even more importantly: what does it take to be so successful? Visitors to the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne can discover a fascinating story of how cycling works as a team sport and can try out how easy or hard cycling can be on a slipstream simulator.
