Discover the history of mobility in the Documentation Centre

The Documentation Centre at the Swiss Museum of Transport houses a collection of historical documents and a reference library. It collects, preserves and indexes documents and videos and makes them available to visitors. Extensive thematic dossiers contain information in the realms of rail transport, aviation and space travel, road transport, navigation cable cars and tourism. The focus is on transport and mobility in Switzerland and its environs. The archive and library document the modes of transport, their technical development and manufacturers, their operation and impact on the environment. Trace the history of mobility online or in person.
