This weekend, the Swiss Museum of Transport and other museums, organisations, collectors and partners are presenting...
How many commuters will there be in the future? Will they be travelling to work in self-driving cars? How will our railway stations evolve over time? “Mobility of the Future” is a forward-looking exhibition that provides answers to these fascinating questions.
Digitalisation also heralds a new era for the Swiss Federal Railways. As Switzerland’s most important passenger transport service provider, it is faced with the challenge of linking existing services with intelligent future-oriented solutions. The exhibition looks at these challenges by means of interactive and animated elements.
On display are visionary concepts, such as interactive smartphone-based journey guiding and intelligent freight wagons with digital drivers’ cabs. The exhibition also explores autonomous driving, e-mobility and the future of railway stations.
