The museum is an extra-curricular place of learning in a class of its own, where pupils can improve their knowledge at first hand. The range of topics offered is vast; amongst its large collection of teaching materials are professionally prepared documents and worksheets, all Curriculum 21-compliant.
Topics such as nature, people, society, engineering, astronomy, business, energy, media, information technology and many more become a special experience for children and young people at the Swiss Museum of Transport.
Schools are able to reserve certain exhibition areas for their own use. Courses and workshops are offered for teachers. Guided tours can also be arranged for entire teams of teachers.
