With captivating cello sounds and immersive projections, cellist Peter Hudler and the Swiss Museum of Transport planetarium will take you to the stars!

Cellist Peter Hudler demonstrates with ease that his instrument is by no means only at home in the classical orchestra. He combines the seemingly most disparate genres into a powerful, passionate but also poetic musical journey, whimsically presented with a humorous twinkle in his eye.

He has performed his programmes on renowned Austrian stages such as the Radiokulturhaus and the Konzerthaus in Vienna, as well as at the Bachfest Schaffhausen, the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Crazy Coqs London and the Royal Theatre Nottingham.

In his projects, he constantly endeavours to present the cello, the music, in new contexts in terms of programming, but also, for example, the concert venues - the genius loci - in order to make classical and other music a little different, lighter, than in the sometimes perhaps somewhat rigid concert business.

It is therefore fitting that Peter Hudler also dedicates himself to music under the starry skies of the planetarium. After the Planetarium Vienna, we now have the pleasure of welcoming him to the Planetarium of the Swiss Museum of Transport on 13 September 2025!
