Stella Nova is a show devoted to questions surrounding our origins and the evolution of matter. We offer insights into a fascinating topic and take you on an exciting voyage of discovery deep into space.
A meteor explodes above the tundra. The search for the origin of this cosmic projectile takes you deep into space. Join us as we leave Earth's protective atmosphere and fly to the Orion Nebula, where you experience the collapse of a cosmic cloud and its transformation into a brilliant star with its own planets and moons.
The Planetarium sinks into the waters of the young Earth. Life emerges. Our fate and our origins are closely bound to the birth and death of stars. What is a star? How does it work? How do stars end? Thanks to Stella Nova, audiences leave the Planetarium armed with fascinating answers to the questions surrounding our origins.
This show is not currently included in our daily programme. Special viewings or other public shows can be arranged for groups of 50 or more or for schools by prior arrangement. Please contact our Conferences and Events team.
