Giorgio Claretti's programme "Piano & Stars - Piano Ballads under the Stars" at the Swiss Museum of Transport Planetarium is an excursion into the land of dreams. It is also an excursion with goosebumps guaranteed under the dome of Switzerland's largest planetarium.
The artist, who was born in Wolfsburg and grew up in Braunschweig, will not only be presenting self-written ballads in the planetarium. No, Giorgio Claretti will also play well-known piano pieces and songs, including those by Yiruma and Adriano Celentano, and reinterpret them in his own personal way with spontaneous and virtuoso improvisation.
But you can also look forward to Claretti's voice. Somewhere between Paolo Conte and Joe Cocker, he uses many facets: sometimes sorrowful and despondent, sometimes powerful at the limit, but above all always intense.
