In «Cinema makes you smart!», the movie theater becomes an interactive science stage. A presenter leads the show and performs live scientific experiments on stage between selected 3D film scenes. The audience is actively involved and gains vivid insights into various scientific and research-related topics.

Weather has always been one of the most dynamic and complex forces on our planet. With climate change, extreme weather events are increasing. “Cinema makes you smart!” brings you closer than ever before to collapsing glaciers, raging wildfires in dry regions, and tornado-ravaged landscapes. Discover the surprising connections between these natural forces – in the film and live on stage. You’ll understand how weather constantly changes and how we can adapt.

What is “Cinema makes you smart!”?
The program transforms the classic cinema into an interactive science theater. A moderator presents live experiments between film segments to bring science to life. It is based on Curriculum 21 and supports modern science education.
Free admission for school classes
Generously supported by the Gebert Rüf Foundation, the Ernst Göhner Foundation, and the cogito Foundation, school classes can experience the educational offering for free.
