Inheritance and Legacy

Help shape the future of the Swiss Museum of Transport and decide what will be supported with your legacy.

We treat your memory with care and use the funds entrusted to us entirely in your interests. At your request, we can support specific exhibition and collection areas or educational activities. For example, your legacy can enable the restoration of culturally and historically significant objects or support new educational formats for school classes and young families.

What is a legacy?

A legacy is a disposition in a will by which someone leaves a sum of money, real estate or other assets to a specific person or institution. The recipient, known as the legatee, receives this gift independently of the rest of the estate. The legatee does not become an heir, but only receives what is specified in the legacy.
