Planet Power
‘Planet Power’ (2018) is a documentary about the history of electricity – from the first artificially generated spark to today’s power stations and the renewable energies of the future. The film features key scientists such as Benjamin Franklin, Michael Faraday and Nikola Tesla, and traces the development right up to modern innovations such as the Solar Impulse solar-powered aeroplane. It also explores the question of how we can meet our growing energy needs whilst protecting the environment.

Cities of the Future
The documentary film ‘Cities of the Future’ (2024) shows how the cities of the future can be designed to be sustainable and liveable. It focuses on challenges such as climate change, population growth and resource consumption, as well as innovative solutions in the fields of energy, mobility and urban planning. The film illustrates that many of these ideas are already being developed today and are not merely visions of the future. Through its screening on the big screen at the Swiss Museum of Transport, pupils gain a vivid insight into possible developments in our cities.
