The Hans Erni Foundation recently received the collection of Maria and Walter Strebi-Erni as a long-term permanent loan from the Maria and Walter Strebi Foundation. The Hans Erni Museum is taking this handover as an opportunity to show for the first time this extensive collection of very early works by Hans Erni, which were acquired by his sister and brother-in-law at a young age from the artist, who was living in Paris at the time. The exhibition provides a unique insight into his early work, which was strongly influenced by Cubism and New Objectivity.
