Organizational structure
The Swiss Museum of Transport works in a project-based matrix organisation. In this matrix organisation, teams from different specialist areas work together on a project-oriented basis to develop innovative solutions. The project managers play a leading role with a high level of specialist management responsibility.
In organisational terms, we are divided into the following three main areas: Exhibition and Collection, Development and Market, Finance and Central Services.
Exhibition and Collection
The Exhibition and Collection department is responsible for the content and operation of the museum. This includes the planning and implementation of exhibitions and their operation. Another focus is the collection, which is managed in the Documentation Center. It contains objects and documents relating to the development of mobility in our country, which form part of the national transport collection. The head of the department is Ute Dotti Gut.
