Good to know for your school trip
Planning tips for school classes at the Swiss Museum of Transport: everything you need to know about travelling, cloakrooms, catering, length of stay and preparation – to make your visit smooth and educational.
Registration for school trip
It is not usually necessary to register to visit the museum. Tickets can be purchased directly at the ticket office (cash or card). To pay by invoice, register your class in advance using the "Plan a school trip" tool and you will receive an invoice at the ticket office on the day of the visit when you collect your tickets.
Accessibility
The museum, the Planetarium, the Filmtheatre and the Swiss Chocolate Adventure are wheelchair accessible. Two wheelchairs are available for hire.
Support
Teachers organise the visit independently and are responsible for their class for the entire duration of the visit. They are also responsible for ensuring that the pupils behave appropriately in the museum environment.
