Astrophysicist Heino Falcke embarks on a fascinating journey to the origins of our universe. People have been telling each other stories about the origin and end of the world since time immemorial. Today, modern science allows us to expand these stories with new findings.
13.8 billion years ago, in a unique moment, the first light of the cosmos was created - followed by matter, stars, galaxies and finally our Earth, which evolved through many upheavals. At the end of this development is the human being - created from stardust.
