Simply Cello — Music to the Stars
13.09.2025 Start: 19:00

With captivating cello sounds and immersive projections, cellist Peter Hudler and the Swiss Museum of Transport's planetarium will take you to the stars!

Cellist Peter Hudler effortlessly demonstrates that his instrument is by no means confined to the classical orchestra. He combines seemingly disparate genres into a powerful, passionate, yet poetic musical journey, whimsically moderated with a humorous wink.

With his programs, he has performed not only at renowned Austrian venues such as the Radiokulturhaus and the Konzerthaus in Vienna, but also at the Bachfest Schaffhausen, the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the Crazy Coqs London, and the Royal Theatre Nottingham, among others.

In his projects, he constantly strives to present the cello and music in new contexts, not only in terms of programming, but also, for example, in terms of concert venues—the genius loci—in order to make classical and other music a little different, a little lighter than in the sometimes somewhat rigid concert business.

It is therefore fitting that Peter Hudler also devotes himself to music under the starry sky of the planetarium. Following the Vienna Planetarium, we are now also delighted to welcome him to the Swiss Museum of Transport Planetarium on September 13, 2025!
